DANCE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

LATIN DANCE COMBO CLASSES
Class groups from: Ages 4-18
Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton, etc.
Latin cultural dance can be
traced to African influences: Bent knees w/ grounded (to the earth) steps, Dynamic foot steps, Body isolations.
We start our Latin dancers from ages 3 through 18. Our instructors carefully choose 3 Latin dances. The kids are taught a brief lesson about those Countries and the artists on the song track. To support and appreciates the choreography they will learn and perform.
HIP-HOP
Class groups from: Ages 4-18
Hip-Hop dancing as we
know it today evolved
from (3) underground
dance elements
Uprock, Locking, and Popping
Kids learn hip-hop dance steps to start. Urban arm and body movements are added to complete the choreography. The dance level rises according to the experience and age group. We guarantee a fun and memorable experience either way! Our classes also teach teamwork and cheering each other on during dance class and on stage.
LITTLE BALLET DANCERS
Little Dancers: Ages 4-7
Pre-schoolers are introduced to basic ballet and hip-hop warm up stretches, posture technique, arm positions and fun dance steps! Your little one will be ready to wear their costume and show off their dance moves with their new dance friends, on recital day!

KIDS & TEEN BALLET CLASS
Kids Ages 7-14 / Teens Ages 15-18
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Classes begin at the barre where students perform movement sequences to develop strength, coordination, balance and proper alignment. These skills are reinforced through center and across the floor combinations. Classical technique and vocabulary are taught.
CLASS AGE GROUPS
EARLY LEARNERS
Your little one will be introduced to fun light stretching excercises and basic dance movements. Your child and new friends will be ready to put on their costume and show off the moves they learned at our recital!
KIDS DANCE
Depending on which class your child chooses. Students learn cultural, formal and/or mainstream dance styles. Instructors breakdown the dance technique and steps that form the choreography your child will learn. Kids are encouraged to ask questions and for help. We want all students to have a fun and memorable experience!
PRE-TEENS and TEENS
Whether your child has taken a dance class in the past or not. Our instructors teach their classes with keeping everyone on the same page, in mind. The dance techniques and discipline supports the development of confidence and leadership skills.
COMPANY
Performance level students continue to have our studio family experience! While learning new choreography, dance style and most importantly the significance of teamwork. We prepare your child to perform on different stages at an advanced level of dancing.
