Introduction

This past January 27th, 2005, Addie Diaz gave what proved to be her debut performance as a Latin Singing Vocalist. The event was given at the Montana Studios located on the upper West Side of Manhattan and was suppose to showcase her talents as a choreographer, a dancer and a singer. The audience members included friends, family, people from the record industry and a few media people.

The 30 minute show included a total of 6 numbers, 9 Mambo dancers and 3 costumes changes. It was the kick-off run for what she hopes will be the model for her future singing events.

Pre-Show Sound Check
On the day of the Showcase, the crew consisting of dancers, caterers (Con Sazon Caterers), Hair/Make-Up, management, guest services and camera crew arrived early to prepare for the event. Costumes were distributed to the dancers, video cameras were positioned to record the event and food was set up. Finally when Addie arrived; a sound check was preformed, the dancers ran through the numbers and Addie immediately went through the works (hair, make-up and wardrobe) in order to be ready by show time.

Once the dancers arrived to the location, they immediately went to
work by getting familiar with the stage and hitting their marks.

The Showcase
Below are a series of candid photos taken of Addie during the last number of the showcase.
Billed as "An Evening With Addie-Tude", the showcase was
suppose to highlight Addie's skills as a choreographer, dancer and singer.
The number "Cumbanchero" has a little of all three. Not to mention that we feel its the
type of song that fits her best.

Singing and loving it.

Immediately after the show, Addie poses with the dancers for some press shots.

At the end of the show Addie got some flowers and took the
time to thank everyone present for making her showcase a reality.
