Addie Diaz and the members of her Addie-Tude Dance Company performed their "I Like It Like That" routine at this year's New York Salsa Congress. The first half of the number consisted of a Cha-Cha (an Addie-tude specialty since Addie's first choreography: Arrecotin). While the second half of the routine consisted of a fast paced mambo. Addie's trademark has been coming up with different and unique dance choreographies (as can be seen with her Knife Fighting number "Hustler" and her Toy Soldier number "Muneca"). This time around Addie wanted to put together a Broadway type mambo number that would require the use of every member of her team. Everyone was dressed in black with short top hats to give it that Broadway feel. The number required the team to go through numerous formation changes. Members of the team could be seen moving from one end of the stage to the other. Everyone had an opportunity to be center stage. The team was sharp and well rehearse which helped give it that Broadway feel.
