Michael Garcia:
Michael has a very diversified dance background which includes Hip-Hop, Step, Salsa/Mambo, Cha Cha, Merengue, Rumba, and Samba.  He has assisted in classes at La Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio and has moved to teaching at the C.C.A.P. Summer Youth Program during the Summer of 2002. He begun his mambo dancing career at the age of 12 with his mother (Sharon Garcia) along side of him while going to the Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio in Brooklyn, New York. Michael was fortunate enough to have Joe Delgado and Cecilia Williams (a.k.a. Cee Cee) as his first Mambo Instructors. Influenced by the style of Latin dancing, Michael kept going to classes and was the youngest in the adult classes on Friday nights. He was later introduced to the world of performing groups when he began attending social dances. A short time afterwards, Carlos Vasquez, the owner of La Salsa De Hoy Dance Studio placed him in his student Dance Troup with other teens his age to perform at local events. Besides being a member of the Addie-tude Dance Company, Michael has been a part of La Salsa De Hoy's Dance Troup (Director: Carlos Vasquez), Tropical Image Dancers (Director Arelis Beato) and The  Revelation Dancers (Director: Cecilia Williams). At 14 Michael is currently the youngest member to ever have joined the Addie-Tude Dance Company. Though young in age he is respected by his peers for his dancing skills, his maturity and for his hard work ethics.
